Dental Practice
We accept both Private and NHS patients subject to examination.
The NHS provides for basic clinically essential treatment
and specifically excludes certain items such as white porcelain
crowns and white fillings in the back teeth. All forms of
cosmetic and implant treatment are excluded too.
Our NHS patients also have the option of some selective private
treatments if they prefer:
- better materials and techniques for greater durability
and aesthetics
- prefer to have appointment times not normally available
for NHS treatment e.g. evenings
- to see certain more experienced dentists for advanced,
complex work.

The
Harrow Wealdstone practice was established before the
1950s, and Dr Thakerar worked there since 1980. In 1986,
he took ownership of the practice.
To allow for expansion, the practice was resited
across the road next to the Clocktower in 1997. This revamped
purpose-built site has enabled the installation of three
modern surgeries. |
